James J. Loll, Esq.
James J. Loll has been practicing law in Beaver County for over thirty years. He is a lifelong resident of Beaver County, and a graduate of Beaver High School. Attorney Loll received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Allegheny Collage in Meadville, Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, he attended and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
While in law school, Attorney Loll held internships with Neighborhood Legal Services and the District Attorney’s Office. Attorney Loll then began his legal career with the law firm of King, Bowman and Ruprecht in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.
In 1984, Attorney Loll brought his practice to Beaver County where he formed James J. Loll, PC. Attorney Loll has experience in a vast array of areas of law, and has focused his practice on estate planning and administration, corporate law, tax law, personal injury and family law. His current practice is focused on estate planning and administration, elder law, tax and corporate law, coal, oil, gas, shale gas, mineral and energy law, and real estate law. He has held and continues to hold various solicitor positions throughout the county, for municipalities and housing cooperatives. His experience as solicitor includes landlord tenant matters, construction contracts and employment issues. Attorney Loll has had experience with many government agencies including the EPA, OSHA, EEOC, the LCB, the PA Human Relations Commission and the PA Bureau of Worker’s Compensation. Attorney Loll has been honored to have been appointed by the Court in various capacities throughout the years, including as a Master for both civil and family proceedings.
Attorney Loll is an active member of the Beaver County Bar Association, where he has previously served on its Board of Directors and on various committees. He is also a current member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the United States Tax Court and the American Bar Association.
Dana Marie Kwidis, Esq.
Dana Marie Kwidis has been with James J. Loll, PC since 2009. A lifelong resident of Beaver County, she is a graduate of Riverside High School. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Language in Literature from the University of Maryland in College Park Maryland. After graduating from Maryland and receiving her degree in three years, Attorney Kwidis was then accepted to Duquesne University’s School of Law on a full tuition merit based scholarship.
During law school, Attorney Kwidis held internships with KidsVoice, the Beaver County District Attorney’s Office, the Allegheny County Bar Association and a civil law firm. Upon graduation from Duquesne, Attorney Kwidis began her legal career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Richard Mancini with the Beaver County Court of Common Pleas.
In 2009, Attorney Kwidis opened Diaz-Cothen and Kwidis, LLP. Specializing in all areas of family law and criminal law, Attorney Kwidis and her partner grew their firm to a thriving local practice. In January of 2012, Attorney Kwidis brought her practice and joined James J. Loll, PC as a full time associate. Currently Attorney Kwidis focuses her practice on estate planning and administration, contract drafting and review, divorce, guardianship and adoption, and real estate matters. She also continues to serve as court appointed counsel in delinquency and dependency matters and as a guardian ad litem for juveniles. She has been honored to receive court appointments in various Orphan’s Court, family law and criminal proceedings.
Attorney Kwidis is an active member of the Beaver County Bar Association, where she currently serves on its Board of Directors and various committees, and of the Beaver County Young Lawyer’s Division, of which she is a past president. She has served as the co-chair of the Beaver County Mock Trial Committee for the past several years and has participated in the Stepping Out and Law Day programs. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pittsburgh Alumnae Chapter of the Delta Gamma Fraternity.
Attorney Kwidis has also received training in the collaborative law process and welcomes those clients who are interested in alternative dispute resolution.
Bea Diaz-Cothen, Esq.
Bea Diaz-Cothen has been with James J. Loll, PC since 2014. She grew up in Miami, Florida and she moved to Western Pennsylvania in 1998 in order to attend college. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Ethics, History & Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. After graduating from college, Attorney Diaz-Cothen attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
During law school, Attorney Diaz-Cothen held an internship with the City of Pittsburgh Law Department. Upon graduation from Pitt Law, Attorney Diaz-Cothen began her legal career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Deborah Kunselman with the Beaver County Court of Common Pleas.
In 2009, Attorney Diaz-Cothen, along with Attorney Kwidis, opened Diaz-Cothen and Kwidis, LLP. specializing in all areas of family law and criminal law. In 2012, Attorney Diaz-Cothen temporarily relocated to the Atlanta area with her family and Attorney Kwidis brought their practice and joined James J. Loll, PC as a full time associate. Attorney Diaz-Cothen returned to Beaver County in the fall of 2014 and joined Attorneys Kwidis and Loll. Currently, Attorney Diaz-Cothen focuses her practice on estate planning and administration, contract drafting and review, liquor license transfers, and real estate matters.
Attorney Diaz-Cothen is an active member of the Beaver County Bar Association. Within the BCBA she has served as a member of the Charitable Fundraising and Giving Committee, the Women in the Law Committee, and the Young Lawyer's Division. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Nathan L. Bible, Esq., LL.M
Nathan L. Bible has been with James J. Loll, P.C. since 2016. Attorney Bible is a 2001 graduate of New Brighton High School. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University at Buffalo (SUNY) in 2006. Attorney Bible then earned his J.D. from Western Michigan University, Thomas M. Colley Law School in 2010 and his LL.M in Taxation in 2011 from University of Florida, Levin College of Law.
During law school, Attorney Bible made the Dean’s List and Honor Roll during every semester and was a Senior Editor of The Thomas M. Cooley Law Review and winner of the Seventh Annual Tax Writing Competition. Attorney Bible had an article published in the 2010 Fall Edition of the Michigan Tax Journal. In addition to his academic achievements, Attorney Bible held internships with the Michigan Tax Tribunal, Michigan Department of Treasury – Tax Policy Division, and The Office of Chief Counsel for the I.R.S. in the Medium to Large Size Business Division.
After graduating from the University of Florida, Attorney Bible’s main areas of practice were Taxation and Oil and Gas. For many years he worked as an independent contractor for several large oil and gas companies in addition to Gordon & Reese Scully Masukhani in downtown Pittsburgh. In June of 2016 he joined James J. Loll, P.C. as a full time associate. Currently Attorney Bible focuses his practice on estate planning and administration, personal injury, contract drafting and review, taxation, real estate matters, oil and gas, and litigation.
Attorney Bible is an active member of the Beaver County Bar Association and the Beaver County Young Lawyer’s Division. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
